Description:

In the photo you can see a little girl wearing the traditional clothing of a German region called Schwalm - "die Schwaelmer Tracht". The story of "Little red riding hood" used this clothing. It is worn for festivals today only, no longer as an every clothing. Other German tradional clothes are the "Dirndl" and the "Lederhose" which are often worn in Bavaria.

So go out and find postcards showing traditional clothing from your part of the world. You need three postcards as you will send one to 3 partners.

This swap is international and I hope that people from many parts of the world will take part.

If you are new to swap-bot you are welcome to take part if you have a filled-out profile. I will check all participants if they had recent no-sends. Please, if you join - send your cards!!!

Please explain on the back side of your card what kind of clothing is to be seen. If you have questions, contact me. Mind my bad English I am no native speaker.

Happy swapping!!!

Traditional clothing can be a cowboy hat as well as a Mexican poncho.

Either way is fine, if you need more space for explanations, an envelope is ok. Except someone wants it sent without.

Today is the 25th of February and I received all three postcards for this swap today from three different parts of the world. Isn't that funny. One from New Zealand, one from Portugal and one from the USA. I really love the postcards.
