Hi swappers! Let's do some of Roxy's 'clusters' together! Her tutorial can be found HERE and, oh, how I wish she used a 30 minute tape instead of the longer ones she uses! Her tutorials are always overly long but I thought this was unique because you create the 'clusters' on a sheet of paper! Make certain your base paper is something sturdier than printer paper--perhaps the base of a file folder or some heavy cardstock. If you use tea-dyed paper as your base (as I plan to do), please affix it to a sturdier piece. Let's create an 8.5"x11" sheet and send half the sheet to our partners. If you don't care if you have any left over, simply create on a piece of paper measuring 4.25" x 5.5" No need to separate the clusters before sending--just pop the 1/2 sheet into an envelope and mail. Be creative in your layering and use colors/items that inspire you! Your sheet should be fairly flat, although you may certainly add a bit of dimension to the clusters if you like. I know this is a lot like the other layered embellishments swap and I try for a variety but this one really appealed to me. I hope it appeals to you, too! |
