Hello all! This is my first time hosting a group swap so please be gentle! If this swap goes well I may turn this into a series with themes and specific challenges but for now, I'm leaving this one open to your interpretation! During the last few months, so many businesses and public places have had to close due to the virus, including our beloved community cafés and coffee shops! I don't know about you, but for me, this has meant getting creative with how I make my coffee and tea at home. As cafés and public restaurants are opening back up again in some parts of the world, I thought it could be fun to celebrate and exchange some of the ways in which we have been spicing up our at-home coffee and tea creations! For this swap, you will send your partner one (1) "recipe" for your own café-drink creation, and a brief note or letter with a little bit of the background behind your drink creation. Your "recipe" and note can be handwritten or typed, but please make sure that if it's written it's legible, and if typed please decorate a little! There is no requirement for extras, but if you feel inspired please feel free to send some café or coffee/tea themed goodies with your recipe, or even the coffee or tea needed to fulfil it (but please check your partner's profile first for any allergies or dislikes!!). If you don't receive anything, or if there are problems with what you do receive, please let me know and I will Angel ASAP. I will try to contact those who haven't sent by 1 week after the send-by deadline, but past that I won't be monitoring flakers, so do let me know if you need me to Angel. Please keep in mind that this is an international swap and mail is extremely slow in some places right now, so letters from some countries could take up to a few months to arrive. Please let me know if there are any questions! I hope you all enjoy trying out each other's creations! |
