Description: | |
For this, our first group swap, we will be swapping something we are good at making. THEME: Red or Cherries What you make can be one or the other or both! The item you make must take you at least an hour to make. This is for quality items, no quick ATCs or bookmarks. Some things that would qualify: dotees, matchboxes, scarves, handmade jewelry, hats, pillowcases, bags/purses, socks, hand knitted or crocheted dish cloths, or anything else you specialize in that takes at least an hour to construct. Since we are making something we are good at making, we don't have to wait to see who our partners are before making. So you could start making right away! Since I checked all your profiles before approving or inviting you, I know this is a group of great botters to swap with. The only stipulation for this swap is that you have not had any 1's in the last 4 months. Have fun! If your partner sends you more then the required item, please be sure to heart them!! If they put the effort into it, please be sure to reward them!! EDIT 02/01/09 I think if you do something like make a set of 6 swap cards (basically decorated cards with generic swap information on them) or a set of 6 handmade blank inside note cards it would be fine. I just don't want anyone to sign up, only make one ATC or bookmark and think they are doing what is qualified for the swap. I understand not everyone is good at the sewing/crocheting/knitting stuff and I don't expect everyone to be able to do those kind of swaps.I wanted to mention this that way if there are other paper crafters that would like to join they can without feeling left out. My model is my adorable niece, Heather. She is modeling a hat I made for her last fall. She loves all the hats I make for her! |
