This is a swap for all you wine lovers.... Carefully remove the label from your next good bottle of wine. The easiet way to do this is fill the bottle with really hot water and then remove. Then turn the label into a notecard. You can just glue the label to the front of the card, or you can be more creative if you wish. On the inside of the card you will write a review of this bottle of wine. Let your partner know where you bought the wine and how much it cost. If the winery has a website link, that is always nice to include as well.

So, I have kept a Wine Dossier for years...and I purchased one for this swap. Would it be okay if my label is in the book as the first entry? I will include all of the necessary info..and then some.

I will also do a lovely card to accompany the dossier.

Also, I have been removing labels for years and I thought I would just add...the water needs to be hotter than tap water. You will need to heat it in the microwave or on the stove to get it hot enough to melt the glue on the back of the label. Also, I include the label on the back of the bottle because it is chock full of good info. Yep...long time wine lover!!
