This is a really easy swap. I love to make handmade postcards. I thought it would be fun to share them with others. I just color pictures in one of my MANY coloring apps and print them as 4 x 6 pictures at Walmart, then using 4x6 mailing labels I stiffen the photos and turn them into postcards. They turn out really nice and pretty in my opinion. hahahahaha But you can make YOUR handmade postcard how every you wish. Try to make them a normal postcard size (4x6) so that you can use a normal postcard stamp to mail. Also on the "writing side" make sure you make it look like a normal postcard with the divided area for your message and address. You will have 10 partners (or however many join the swap, up to 10) and mail each partner one handmade postcard written on and stamped. Don't forget to add the name of the swap and your user name so you can be rated. This is a USA only swap but feel free to host your own International version of this swap if you wish. Rating 4.9 at least and no recent 1's or 3's in the last 6months. Thanks!! Update: I've had a suggestion to give the swap a longer turn around and fewer recipients. I think I was thinking of the way I make handmade postcards by printing pictures out and putting labels on the back and didn't think that others have more involved methods. I'm going to switch the number of partners to 5 and make the turn around 3 weeks for those of you that want to join but feel the number or partners and time frame are too tight. Please note and accept that if you choose to create a really detailed postcard that you may only receive a simple one in return. If this bothers you please think twice about joining this swap because there is no criteria for details in making the postcard. (other than size) Thanks! |
