Description: | |
Do you enjoy winter themes, but not holiday inspired? Snow, cozy fireplaces, winter sports, forest animals in frosty scenes and hot beverages of all sorts make the darker side of the season bearable. If you are in the warmer climes, or Southern Hemisphere, what are your secular winter joys? This is an international exchange. One postcard, written and stamped, with a winter scene, to one partner. No envelopes please. To keep things easy, this is store bought postcard. However, there is a similar exchange for mail artists here. Please write a few sentences about why you enjoy the winter season wherever you are in the world. Or maybe you live where it’s rarely cold and you daydream about swirling snowflakes, or vice versa. Share those daydreams. Whatever you write, fill the back of the postcard. Image is the start of one of my crossstitch projects, Sheltering Tree by Annie Beez Folk Art |
