Description: | |
Receiving a letter is uplifting in of itself but when you receive a letter that someone has put their heart into, something you want to read again, that is the sort of letter we all wish for. Indira has kindly suggested a swap in which we create a special letter, one written on carefully tea-dyed paper with pen and ink or a pen that would simulate that effect. In this letter we would share a little bit about our character, perhaps a description of how we think she may look, a favourite room in her home in Amberleigh or a glimpse into her family. These things will help us get to know one another better. Once your letter is written, it is finished in style with a pretty wax seal, or if you haven’t a wax seal, a lovely image as a focal point. And let us not stop there, a beautiful little folio to hold our letter and perhaps a tuck in or two that have the flavour of our era and will delight our partner would be a fine touch. These could be clipped from magazines, stickers, tags, or some other little lovely you have in your stash. For this swap, which is a postal swap, we shall have one partner. To your partner you will write a lovely letter and house it in the folio described above. The folio can have a pocket or a flap to house your tuck ins or it may also be a tri-fold with a pretty ribbon tie. You may interpret the making of the folio as you like, for this letter is one that shall delight not only the receiver, but the sender also. If there are any queries, or uncertainties, please contact us, we are always at your disposal, Jane, Pam, Nickalli and Anna |
