Inspired by the clear packing tape postcards in "All About Collage" by Todd Oldham. Let’s swap see-through PCs for fun!*Sender's choice of "theme" or subject and contents, since we'll all have different items on-hand. Just use what you have! *Simply try to make a fun postcard that you can see-through! *There's no worry for leaving a long message on these PCs! It's just about the fun of making something different from the "norm" to send via snail-mail to our partner! I made my last one by laminating confetti in the clear plastic photo pockets available from office supply stores. You know, the kind used to laminate pictures with?! But, a sturdy card could also be fashioned by sandwiching some pretty double-sided papers between layers of clear packing tape. Or, another idea is to use an upcycled piece of clear acrylic carton (like the sort that baked goods from the supermarket often come in)! I've cut these up to make ATC's in the past, and the plastic takes alcohol based inks quite well! You can try drawing with alcohol markers or drip-dropping ink straight from the bottle! As some clever gal once pointed out, a PC is just a big ATC, so the clear plastic can be cut to a postcard size for just as much crafting fun, right! *A fourth option just occurred to me: anyone remember the clear transparency sheets teachers would use on overhead projectors? Those could maybe work here too!
