Description:

This swap is USA only, but I will host an International version as well. You will have 2 partners and send them each a holiday themed postcard. Please read the entire swap description - I will probably answer your questions!

For this swap, you will send each of 2 partners a holiday themed postcard (Happy Holidays, Season's Greetings, Merry Christmas, etc - ANY holiday observed in Dec-Jan). Please note, this is for POSTCARDS, not greeting or note cards! Send the card 'naked' (stamped, written on and sent through the mail). Cards can be store bought or hand made (but if hand made, be sure the card is flat and can go through the mail with nothing falling off, and that you have done more than just put some stickers on a card and mailed it!) Be sure to write the swap name AND your swap-bot ID on the card! Edit If you do not have a holiday postcard and are not able to create one of your own, you may cut down a holiday themed greeting card or note card to send, as long as the card stock is sturdy enough to go through the mail and you will not 'ruin' the picture or wording by cutting it down. You can check the regulations for post card size on the USPS.com website to be sure you are adding enough postage.

In the message section, please say more than 'happy holidays' - tell your partner if you have decorated yet, started shopping, listened to holiday music, watched movies - stuff like that. Fill the section for your partner to get a nice message. Be sure to address the card fully and clearly so it can arrive to your partner! And, be sure to use proper postage.

who can join? This swap is for established swappers with at least 10 completed, rated type 2 swaps. Profile MUST be fully filled out! more than just a few paragraphs, and graphics/photos don't count in profile content!
NO late sends on your dash, and NO unresolved 1's or 3's to current swappers.
ALL swappers should have been a member of swap-bot for at least 2 years This is not a newbie friendly swap, and it is not a ratings booster card.

This is a quick turn around swap so be sure you have cards and stamps before you sign up! This is NOT a profile based swap, though. Any holiday themed card is acceptable, and you are NOT required to send to your partner's likes or preferences. (If they don't like Santa, and you only have Santa cards, it's ok to send the Santa card - for example.)

I angel all of the swaps I host, so if you are flaked on, please contact me once you have rated your partner a 1. Please be sure to RATE your partner! If you receive a (Dec-Jan) holiday themed postcard from them, please rate a 5. Don't rely too much on the postmark - mail is slow getting sorted and sent around still this year, so let's be a bit understanding.

If you have ANY questions or comments, please SEND ME A PM! I will NOT see comments left below. I always forget to check, but I do get PM's.

I do my best to vet all swaps I host, and try to avoid flakers and questionable swappers, but I'm not perfect. If you know of someone who has joined one of my swaps who is questionable, please send me a PM with the information rather than comments left below. I am grateful for the information and will take it into consideration.

If you would like to swap, but do not meet the requirements, please message me. I am usually willing and able to do private swaps.
