Description: | |
I got permission from MamaD to host some swaps and use her wording. These swaps are not meant to replace MamaD's swaps but these swaps are for those who have a journal they want to pass along a little sooner. I will watch and be careful not to have send dates near Mama D's swaps. For this swap you will send to your partner the journal which you received in the previous round, AFTER you have completed your pages. Please make sure you have signed your pages, or signed the sign in sheet in the journal, if there is one designated OR if this is your first round, send your partner your prepared journal (as per specifications below and in the group forum). When you receive the art journal, you will complete at least one - "2 page spread" and no more than 3 - "2 page spreads" (this is different than listed in the group requirements. As someone suggested, due to the holidays, this may be more reasonable at this time!) You may paint, draw, collage, use mixed media, etc. Please make sure when working on your partner's journal, you follow their "theme". Sadly, due to the random way partners are assigned, you "might" end up sending a journal back to the original owner, or eventually having same partners. Just something that is unavoidable. If you receive your journal back, it is totally up to you if you wish to work a page or two, or just hang on to it until the next round. Just as a reminder: The size of these are 3.25" x 4.5". • NO SPIRAL BOUND books!! Cloth or book tape binding only! You MAY make your own book, as long as it meets the requirements. On the inside cover journal, make sure your name, address and email are clearly written. Please make sure that if your art journal has a "theme", it is clearly described what that theme is! The type of artwork you are expecting should be clear to the recipient. • Please remember that to help us keep postage costs down, any embellishments need to be flat. Any questions that aren't addressed in the group forum, or that you may think of, please feel free to ask!! I'm sure there is something I've not thought of!! |
