The calendar says it's Spring, even though it's early April and lots of folks are still shoveling snow and are bundled up in coats and gloves. If you're in a cold climate, it's time to think warm. If you're in a moderate climate, it's time to think spring. This In the Garden swap is all about things found in a garden. Examples include but aren't limited to, flowers, vines, gazebo, trellis, ladybugs, gardening gloves, seeds, etc. Due to mailing restrictions, this swap is limited to the U.S.A. (If there's a demand, I'll post an international version.) You'll have two partners. Pick any five things (any combination) from the list below. You'll be making up two packages. They can be the same or different. Each package should contain a note introducing yourself to your partners and then any five of the following: a) a rubber stamp (mounted or unmounted) b) a notepad or journal c) 3 bookmarks (either storebought or handmade) d) a magazine or book e) 3 ATCs f) 10 stamped images g) a set of 5 note cards with mail art envelopes (stamp the envelopes to match the note cards) h) 2 packages of flower seeds (please limit this choice to partners within the continental U.S.A. -- seeds aren't supposed to go into Hawaii) i) a pair of pretty gardening gloves j) a package of buttons or embellishments k) 3-5 yards of patterned ribbon l) a surprise of your choosing Remember, the theme is In the Garden. Interpret as you wish. Dollar amount up to you. Storebought items should be new. Send packages you'd be thrilled to receive. Ratings of 4.6 or higher required to participate, and you must have a completed profile. Thank you for considering this swap. May flowers always bloom in the garden of your heart. |
