Description:

Dearest Amberleigh neighbors, We have a marvelous event to look forward to soon.

Our darling Elizabeth Treadwell will be hosting a Cupid’s Ball to be held on February 24th at the Rose and Crown.

As we look forward to the fun and frivolity that awaits we thought a splendid souvenir would be just the thing to gift a dear friend.

Please make a ribbon brooch to send to your partner in remembrance of the ball and to adorn their journal.

Here is a blog post with several examples for inspiration. This One is a great example!

Please choose red or pink for the color of the ribbon, keeping the overall size near 3 inches in length and 2 inches in width.

The center medallion can be in the shape of an oval, circle or heart. A size of around 1 x 1 1/2 inches seems appropriate, but you may vary that as you wish. In the center, instead of a portrait, please include the words: “Cupid’s Ball - February 24th - Rose and Crown” - in any style and configuration that works/fits. Using both the front and back if needed.

Please decorate it beautifully, remembering that for our journals and shipping, flatter is better.

Send your completed ribbon brooch to your partner along with a letter or journal entry about your attendance at the Ball.

Our thanks to our hostess, Elizabeth Treadwell (Beth) for her fabulous idea! We hope you have fun with this and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to let us know! - Jane, Anna and Nickalli
