Description:

The last time I hosted this swap in 2019, we had many takers. So I decided to bring it back again, hoping to brighten our days with filled envelopes.

I love receiving a filled envelope and discovering all of the assorted goodies within. If you are anything like me you will definitely love this swap. You will have 1 partner to whom you'll send a blind envie (meaning you pack before partners are assigned and seal the envelope) of 10 categories of items from the following list (each bullet point=1category)

  • 5 Handmade crafts (not by anyone else, you need to make something for your partner) It can be anything, some options are bookmark, flip card, pocket folder, ATC, notecard, bracelet, and so on.
  • 5 envelopes (not smaller than 4x4)
  • 5 quotes (handwritten or typed)
  • 5 paperclips(altered or different designs but not plain)
  • 5 scrapbooking papers (6x6 or bigger )
  • 5 tags
  • 5 wax seals (real wax not stickers) (small wax seals 2=1 i.e smaller than 1")
  • 5 photographs (instax or regular)
  • 5 old book pages (whole sheets not cut or torn, slightly worn out is fine)
  • 5 washi samples (24" each)
  • 5 ribbon/lace/fibre samples (24" each)
  • 5 patterned fabric squares (4x4 or bigger)
  • 5 different papers (handmade/textured/Gelli print etc for junk journal) (each 4" or bigger)
  • 5 paper doilies (if small 2=1)
  • 10 loose stickers (each 1" or bigger) or 1 sheet with 10 stickers (no planner/reward stickers)
  • 10 used postage stamps
  • 10 negative films
  • 10 die cuts (each 2" or bigger)
  • 10 memo sheets/sticky notes (each 3" or bigger)
  • 10 stamped images (each 2" or bigger, anything smaller 2=1)
  • 10 dried/pressed flowers (packed neatly in an envelope)
  • 15 ephemera

Along with it send a little note of the swap name, your swapbot ID and list the 10 categories you are including. You can include any extras if you so wish (we all know we love them). Since this is an international swap, please give the mail adequate time to reach you. Also considering mail can be slow in some countries due to Covid, please communicate with your partners. Making it a type 3 due to craft element and postage costs.

RATING

  • No one below a rating of 4.99
  • No one with unresolved/unexplained 1's and 3's in the last 6 months.
  • Hearts are at your discretion. Don't rate a 3 if you dislike whats included as it is senders choice and a blind envie after all.
  • I will be checking all profiles before assigning partners and will ban at my discretion
  • Newbies with a minimum of 5 type 3 and overall 20 (type2/3) swaps are allowed.

Hopefully this will be as fun for you as it is for me.

I am looking for volunteers to angel this swap with me, please Pm or comment(although I'm hoping angeling won't be necessary).

If flaked on, follow through below:

  1. Contact your partner if you haven’t received anything.
  2. If you can’t work things out with them, message me.
  3. After you rate them a 1 for noncompliance, we'll have an angel send out a swap.

Looking forward to some fun. Happy swapping. Please contact me for any queries. Any newbies who would be interested in this swap but can't join please message me and we could setup something private.

Hi there, this swap sounds fun and I want to join, but I don’t know where I’d find 10 negatives. I guess I’m not even sure what those are. I’ll sign up and I’m sure if I need to use something else, it won’t be a problem.

Hi Tara, you can pick any 10 bullet points (each point is 1 category) that you have and can share from your stash. If you can't find 10 categories please message me and we can fix up something.
