Wasnt there a movie or something called Earth Girls are Easy? I could go look it up but I would ruin my idea if Im mistaken. LOL THE IDEA:The idea is to reinvent a envelope out of something unusual. What a way to celebrate the end the confinement to get out to a thrift store and score something to reinvent! Woot! UNUSUAL?HOw about a VHS sleeve sewn or taped shut on both ends? How about a Earth day bag thats headed for the trash cuz the handles are broken. Cut out a envie a pattern and secure the ends shut? What about a clothes pattern sent as a envelope? What if I dont have something cool?I dont want this to prevent you from joining but you will have to do a extra step. You may make a envie outta song sheet paper, a paper bag, or even the lowly newspaper. Whats the extra step:To take the ordinary paper envie to the next level you must add colour to the front. Think gelli printing, sprays, stencils, etc. Add colour to the front and the back is optional. . You may have to shore up your envelope with clear packing tape to get any delicate paper through the mail without ripping. Newspaper will definitely NOT make it through the mail. The inside stash:Enclose a little flat gift. Your choice. Something re-invented would be cool. I hope you dig digging up something cool. Please dont forget your ID. Rate kindly. |
