Fashion Plate Journal Card: Unmentionables

According to the dictionary a “fashion plate” is an illustration showing the prevailing or new fashion in clothes. Let’s create 2 fashion plates featuring women’s under garments, or unmentionables. Corsets, brassieres, slips, bustles, crinolines, chemise and don’t forget your drawers!

Choose any era you like from the beginning of time till the 1950’s. Please be sure to use vintage imagery, whether it’s an old photograph or an illustration, and anything else to create your fashion plate.

Most of us, who have journals, use the 5 x 7 size, so let's make our journal cards either 4 x 4 or 5 x 4 to fit nicely inside a 5 x 7 journal. This size will also work for anyone with a larger journal as well. If you do not have a journal, this should still be a fun project using just a slightly different size than an ATC or a postcard.

You will make 2 journal cards, one for each of 2 partners with the theme: Fashion Plate. "Unmentionables"
