For this swap you will send 1 person a kit full of items to inspire creativity. Think of it as one of those "Of the Month" or "Cratejoy" styled boxes that are curated to a certain theme. This will be a kit with multiple paper crafting styled items, specially chosen for your partner, to inspire them to create something fabulous.
If there is a good response to this swap I will make it a monthly series.
Swap Details
Theme - The theme of June's Kit will be Sender's Choice. You pick a theme then choose items that fit together in that theme. Your theme can be as simple or specific as you choose.
What to Include - Below are the basics that should be included in your kit. You're highly encouraged to go over the minimum required amounts if you like.
Profile Based - While the theme this month is up to you, you should be basing it off of your partner's profile. You want to send them something they will be excited to get and use.
Patterned Paper - Include at least 2 different sheets of patterned paper. Minimum size 6 x 6 inch. You may also include solid color paper in addition to the patterned.
Please don't fold your paper to fit in envelope. Use a larger envelope.
Handmade Embellishment or Ephemera - Include at least 2 pieces that are made by you. Examples - Tags, ATC, Small Envelope, etc. Take the time to put some effort into this and make something nice. Make sure to let your partner know which pieces were made by you.
10 Pieces - Include at least 10 pieces of anything else that fits with your kit. Examples - Stickers (may be individual stickers but good quality and size), Washi Tape (if sample - minimum 18 inches long), various ephemera or embellishments, postcards, book pages, stamped images, small decorative envelopes, photo corners, etc.
Make sure to give a nice assortment of items. Don't just send 10 stickers. Try to mix it up so your kit has a variety of things to use.
Packaging - Do your best to package your items so they look like a kit. Maybe an envelope, paper or cello bag or bundle it together with some ribbon. Include a topper or tag with the name of your kit (the theme). Try to be creative and have some fun with it. So it isn't just a bunch of stuff dropped in a mailer.
Note - Make sure to include a note that tells your partner what the theme of your kit is and a bit about why you chose it, how you put it together, or anything else about it you might want to share.
Please do not include any dirty, torn or unusable items. Send quality items that you would want to receive yourself.
