I’m not sure how many of us keep an art journal but I would like to regularly have swaps in which we create art journal pages with specific themes. For this first swap we will be making 1 watercolor doodle journal page for our partner. These are the basics: The size should be that of a regular book page. Leave some space on the left side so that your partner can easily add it into their art journal. The paper needs to be sturdy. You can glue book pages together or use watercolor paper. If I work with mixed media’s I use Gesso first. (when using regular paper) . The use of watercolors are a must but there are also watercolor pencils as well as paints. I have a lovely set of watercolor markers. Work with what you like! Additional mediums are allowed as well but keep it simple. The doodles can be a variety of things. Flowers (like in the video) or stars, animals, little funny sea creatures etc. You can also doodle some words, letters even music notes. Here is an example: creationsceecee There is alot of space here for your own creativity and interpretation. Enjoy the simplicity of this swap! Create something special for your partner. There is no rush. It’s summer so the sign up and send by date are longer. Let’s try this together! All elements of this swap is sender’s choice. Please remember to decorate your envelope a little. Add the name of this swap and your swapbot name somewhere on or in the envelope. Rate upon receiving. Have fun!! Should you have any comments or questions please message me. I don’t mind hearing input from others! update: The size should be around that of a c6 standaard envie. Please don’t fold your creation. Roughly 11x16 cm |
