Hi swappers! I'm borrowing this idea (with permission) from @papertreasures17 -my friend, Karen! We're going to do a series of 3x5 index cards--each featuring a different bird. Here's what to do: begin with an index card or a sturdy base measuring 3x5 create a collage on top use the bird (in this case, a woodpecker) as your focal point Use a photo or illustration attach a tab with the word, 'woodpecker' on it somewhere along the top. It should extend ABOVE the top of the card as a normal tab would. cover the back of your card with plain-ish paper; write swap info on the back as well If you choose to use a plain index card, you'll have to place extra layers on your card for stability. It will be nice to display these in a lovely 3x5 card box. Hope you'll join in the series and begin collecting a box full of birds! |
