Choose A Writing Prompt

Below are five writing prompts. Select at least one prompt and write about it in a note card to your partner. Writing prompts are a great way to share a little something about ourselves with our fellow Swap-botter’s and a great way to learn something about them as well.

Note cards may be homemade or store-bought. It is not necessary to send un-used note cards to our partner for this swap. We are using the cards we already have to write to our partners.

Choose one of the following writing prompts to write about:

1. "What vehicle did you sit in? Write a story or memory that takes place at a drive-in movie theater."

2. “How did it become yours? Write a story about the first pet your remember owning.”

3. “Why were you still smiling? Write about a time that you should have been mad but couldn’t stop smiling.”

4. “Where does real magic exist? Write about it.”

5. “What was your favorite childhood toy when you were little? Write about the memories you have with that toy.”
