I FEEL HONORED to debut as Officer on this group with the third edition of this successful swap! Thank you for the invitation @Lavendersprinkles If you love Christmas time and all the wonderful memories that are built every year, and if one of your favorites is to pick a new ornament for your tree that highlights a positive thing for that year, this is the swap for you to get into " fa-la-la" mode ASAP :) For this swap you'll have one partner, you'll send him/her a new or handmade whimsical ornament, (you have to check what they prefer, either handmade or store-bought, in the comments below to this swap) with the shape of something she/ he enjoys, THIS IS NOT A PROFILE BASED SWAP, but looking at their profile for ideas, will help your shopping. No balls or spheres on this swap as it will serve as a memento to cherish, has to represent something. With your ornament, you'll include a Christmas card, no biggie on this as is sender's choice, this will serve as a conduit to share some holiday cheer; tell your partner some of your plans and one thing you hope for on this Christmas! The card can be store-bought or handmade. IMPORTANT: COMMENT BELOW YOUR PREFERENCE FOR HANDMADE OR STORE-BOUGHT PREFERENCE. IF YOUR ORNAMENT IS MADE OUT OF GLASS MAKE SURE IS WELL PACKED, WRITE FRAGILE ALL OVER THE PACKAGE, ALSO LET YOUR POSTAL CLERK KNOW THAT YOU'RE SHIPPING A delicate item hopefully this would prevent your package from getting tossed or else! Usually, glass ornaments come with a box to protect them, unfortunately, this isn't always the case. TIPS TO BE SUCCESSFUL ON THIS SWAP 1- PLEASE, do not wait until the last minute to send your swap, there's a prediction of things being delayed this year and cost being superior to past years, so consider these two elements to determine if you can afford to send this swap and do it in time. 2-Do the following to ensure it arrives in pristine condition: wrap the ornament in bubble wrapping, then place it in a box larger with at least 1" of room on each side, fill this space with paper shreddings or tissue balls, the idea is that doesn't shift on transit. Then place in a packing box (you could use flat rate USPS boxes wrapped as a gift to be able to ship by weight) 3-DO NOT SEND GLASS ORNAMENTS ON A BUBBLE MAILER OR BAG! Use common sense while shipping delicate items, ask me if in doubt. Do not expose yourself to a low rate or have to resent because your swap arrived crushed. 4-You are welcome to send extras if you'd like, to increase your chance of a heart, but by any means this is NOT mandatory and shouldn't be detrimental for you to give a 5 rate to your partner. Please rate a five if you've received an ornament that's shaped and not broken and a Card/letter with it :) 5-I give this advice on all my swaps: Please take a good picture of your contents and the shipping receipt with tracking # visible, keep the picture until a rate is received, this makes any claim faster and smoother to resolve. Participants must have a well-filled profile and a rating of 5.0 are preferable. Blank profiles and unexplained 1's and 3's will be removed. Participants that don't fill the requirements will be removed. In the event that you had recently received a low rate because your situation was unfair please, create a section on your profile called "MY THREE RATE" (OR WHATEVER IS THE CASE) I'll take a look at that before assigning partners, standardized rates ensure the quality of participants, and for this reason, Angeling will not be necessary. Thanks for Joining! Comment if you have any questions, happy swapping! :) |
