Description:

This swap is created in response to all the great posts in my poll who stated they wanted a crafty swap...one suggestion in particular stood out as particularly suitable for this group:
- Make something you're good at making!

For this swap, you will choose a theme from your partner's profile and then get to creating something in the medium you are most talented! Dollar value should be minimum $20 value (in craft terms - please dont undervalue or over value your items - think of what you see at craft shows or in shops - generally, we should consider "paying" ourselves $20 an hour for what we make)

This means:
- if you use fibers, then make something with them - if you sew, then sew something nice - if you are best at paper, then do it up well! - ATCS - min. of 4, unless they are completely hand drawn or painted, then 2 is ok. - if you like making dolls or animals, then pick one for your partner - and so on!

I will check all participants prior to assigning partners. In this group we all want to swap with considerate, kind people.

could we mix it up say? maybe more than one item?

Greenwoodtree 03/ 6/2009 #

Sure...its entirely up to you :-)

I'd love to do something like this one, but $20 is just too steep for me right now, especially before mailing.

Carol, if you read the swap specifications, this is for a handmade by you item...you are not spending money at a store. I specifically worded it so people would value their work.
