Hi swappers! Let’s follow along with Pam in THIS tutorial to create 6 very simple writing spots (for journals or memos) from a single 8.5”x11” paper. One big change to the tutorial: please use heavier weight paper than 20# printer paper. Use at least 50# paper (e.g., cardstock) to create your 6 cards. You may use white or any light neutral color as your card base. Use Pam’s loose measurements to create your 6 blank cards, tearing your 8.5”x11” paper into 3 vertical strips and then halving those strips (horizontally) to create 6 pieces. After the ‘tearing’ part of the tutorial, create page embellishments in your own style. Pam gives some embellishment suggestions as the tutorial progresses (but some are kind of messy ;+) I really love the fact that Pam makes her crafting so accessible to everyone, regardless of level of expertise. Please remember that all the tutorials are meant for inspiration…not duplication (unless you want to duplicate, and that’s fine, too!) Your challenge is to create a set of lovely writing cards for your partner, using only flat-ish embellishments. Lots of creative freedom in this project--hope to see you there! |
