Description:

It’s starting to look like Christmas time at the Rose & Crown. Leandrea Wallis loves decorating all the bedrooms, parlors and especially the ball room for the season. Her favorite decoration though, is the one she asks all of Amberleigh’s residents to help with - the giant wreath on the wall of the entryway. Each year she has her husband, Bryan, make an enormous evergreen wreath to hang in the main entryway and asks all the local residents of Amberleigh to provide an ornament to decorate it. The ornament must be homemade, and once it’s hung, the creator takes home a large orange-spice iced cookie as a thank you! Those cookies sure aren’t to be missed!

For this swap the residents of Amberleigh (you) will be making a paper wreath decoration along with a storage pocket/envelope to send to your partner.

Follow the instructions HERE to make this paper wreath.

The size of the paper rectangle used is up to you (for cardstock weight paper I wouldn’t go smaller than 2x4” due to thickness and issues with folding).

Please decorate your paper wreath and include a ribbon for hanging. In addition, you’ll also make a decorated pocket or envelope to go into your partner’s journal so they’ll have a place to keep the wreath after the holidays.

We hope you’ll all join in the fun and create a wreath (or three)! If you have any questions, please let Anna, Jane or Nickalli know.

am I stupid, how many wreaths are we to make. 1 or 3?

@pynart2 you are obviously not stupid! 💖 You’re making one paper wreath (like in the picture above), and making a storage envelope or pocket to keep it in the journal. Let me know what was confusing so I can correct it!! ~ Nickalli
