LLU: 2021 My Year in Books

I had a great year in reading! I hope you did too and I'm anxious to hear about the books you loved and why.

Please answer each question with at least a sentence or more. #6 is only if you also listened to audiobooks. If you didn't, just say that and move on.

1. Number of books read, including audiobooks
2. Your five star rated books. Please give a short review of these books (at least 3, but no more than 10 if you had a great year in reading—like me).
3. Most over-rated books in your opinion. Please explain.
4. If you are in a book club, what books did your club most enjoy (even if you didn’t). Explain a bit.
5. Did you read multiple books by one author? Comment on what you love about that writer/books
6. If you also listened to audiobooks-- a. Where do you get your audiobooks? b. Favorite audiobooks (if discussed already, just give the title again, otherwise, give a short review) c. Do you have a favorite narrator? Who? Why?
7. If you use Goodreads or another (is there another now?) provider, include how to look at your books online.
8. What books are still on your TBR list?

Feel free to add anything else you'd like to share about your reading habits, books, tips, etc. If you'd like to include a small, flat surprise for your partner, it is NOT required, but surprises are always nice, especially if your partner has read your profile and found something you love instead of the one thing you absolutely avoid--for me, that's stickers.

I'm making it international because I LOVE reading books from other cultures. I'm giving you LOTS of time to write because I really want these to be thoughtful and informative. I'm creating my 2022 reading list from my partner!
