SSM: Doors ATC

Doors and doorways represent the passage from one place to another...a transition. Closed doors can mean that one is avoiding something OR staying safe in one place.

The new year is a fresh beginning for many around the world. The hope for an improved life in one way or another. Others believe that the way you spend the New Year at the chime of midnight is how you will spend the rest of the year. Those happy and wrapped in the arms of someone wonderful hope this to be true - and those working or sick or mired in sadness, hope this is just a superstition. Whatever you believe, I encourage you to take some time to think about transitions, staying or going...the doors to possibility, as you create something for your swap partner.

SWAP: Create one (1) ATC (must be standard size 2.5" x 3.5") for one (1) swap partner. Total creative license to the sender on how you incorporate the symbol of the door/doorway into your little piece of art. The only requirement is that you use stickers sparingly (i.e. only as a part of the design, not as the whole design) and meet the size dimensions required to be considered an Artist Trading Card.

You can make the card interactive (with doors that actually open) or more of a traditional card. Please note that you may receive a thicker card for this one as many ATC artists like to create the more interactive type. Ensure the ATC is in a protective sleeve - paper, plastic, homemade, whichever you prefer - when you send it out. As always, please make sure to write your SB name and the name of the swap somewhere for your partner to see. This will allow for everyone to get rated!
