Description:

No-sew fabric art doll I love these no-sew fabric art dolls! They are easy to make and are almost like a wand!

Let's add our own TGWI twist on these and have her designed as a talking stick. Native American Indians traditionally use a talking stick while they are in sacred circle that they pass around and hold as each person contributes their voice to the circle.

Talking sticks are traditionally tied at each end with leather and rabbit fur.and embellished with feathers, hooves, charms, crystals. I don't expect many will want or have rabbit fur or hooves to use but we can improvise with fabric & fibers, beads and ???

Wrap a stick, wire or skewer as seen in the instruction link as we did before with stuffing and fabric. From there make something inspired! Visit the group forum message board to find more brainstorming ideas on this neat project!

Let's give plenty of voice to our creations. Make her beautiful, something you want to hold and touch. Something that catches the eye. Something that makes you want to speak your peace.

USA only due to ship costs. Feel free to start an Int'l version.

Please explain a little more about the Talking stick or rattle. The first one I made was more flat and about 6 to 8 inches tall. I will go to google image and see what I can see. I still enjoyed making the last one and would love to try again.

My schedule in April is really tight, so I'm feeling a little uncertain about the deadline for this swap... but it does look like SO much fun! ... :) ... count me in.
