May Flower ♥ Ink Box Cards (US)

Let's make two (2) collaged 3" x 3" ink box cards for one (1) partner in a "May Flower" theme -- but with a twist!

Create your two ink box cards with:

âž– a "May" theme
âž– a "flower" theme
âž– a "May flower" or "Mayflower" theme
âž– or some combination of the above

You are free to interpret the "May flower" theme as you wish. Light or dark, the interpretation is yours! It might be nice to include a note for your swap partner to share your unique inspiration, especially if it's not obvious. Here are just a few ways you might wish to interpret the "May Flower" theme:

• "Mother MAY I" is a children's playground game. You could feature children's games in your cards, or feature images of playgrounds.
• The birth FLOWER for MAY is Lily of the Valley, which suggests a beautiful palette with fresh shades of green and white.
• A FLOWER of any kind always makes a beautiful focal element.
• The MAYFLOWER was an English ship that transported pilgrims to the New World back in 1620. You might theme your cards around New England, where the ship landed, or perhaps around Colonial America more generally.

After partners are assigned, you'll have two weeks to complete your work before the mail-by date, which is the last day of the month. This is not a profile-based swap, so you can dive in to creating right away!
