Earth Girls are Easy: Cool, Crappy postcard

This is my 3rd swap. Im trying to win that car China offered. LOL Thats funny.

With Earth Day on the brain....... Turn your crap into something cool.

Lets 'build' this postcard from nothing.

I swear I save the tiniest, crappiest, cool, crap esp. mixed media projects. It all has a purpose eventually. LOL

The postcard:

4x6. You can cover an existing postcard or just use sturdy cardboard if you wish.

The 3 layers:

Create depth and texture with 3 layers of ephemera. Add a base of crap castoffs. Add a 2nd layer of crap. Use different THICKNESSES of ephemera to get the texture moving and finally add a 3rd layer in places to the 2nd layer. It should feel nice n' lumpy and cool when you run your fingers over it and cool to the eye.

Dont limit yourself to ephemera. HOw about the dried paint off a tube, flat sequins? LOL

Seal it real goooooooooooood so nothing peels off. If this concerns you mail in a clear sleeve. Stamp on the outside of the sleeve.

Make something interesting and cool even if it is in the eye of the beholder. LOL

I mean where else can you create something out of castoffs and leftovers and end up with something cool and interesting.

Finally you can debase the top layer with a wash, silly string, LOL, acrylic splats. Shout vulgarities at it while youre at it. LOL
