Description:

For this swap you will choose 1 chocolate bar and send to your partner. Seems simply enough right? Well, here's where it might get tricky...you'll then find some cute card, postcard, pretty paper & matching envie, post-its, etc. and send that too! The possibilities are endless!

If there's anything your partner doesn't like they're going to write a little comment down below. It's EXTREMELY important that you note ANY allergies no matter how mild. Remember, you're supposed to enjoy the chocolate not end up in the hospital! :)

For hearts you can add more candy, extra stationery, or something from your partners profile. You might even choose to alter the wrapper of the chocolate bar itself but, whatever the case, be sure to award hearts if you get extras (or extra effort)!

This is for Canadians & Americans only and newbies with completed profiles are welcome!

Enjoy!

i guess the only things i don't like are white chocolate, coffee and hazelnut flavors, and nuts besides peanuts! thanks. :)

AcadiaChick 03/16/2009 #

I agree with you sschlegel - please no white chocolate, coffee, or mocha chocolate! I do like almonds and hazelnuts though. :)

moosemama 03/17/2009 #

I LOVE Dark chocolate, but can't eat Hazel nuts or Filberts. I am happy to receive anything...and if I don't like it, my family will eat it - .8)

My fav is Coffee, well I love anything coffee lol

mmilesesq 03/19/2009 #

I don't enjoy coffee flavors or weird chocolate flavors like chili flakes; everything else is great.

AcadiaChick 03/19/2009 #

Chili flakes really? I've never heard of anything like that - but I live in Canada. Perhaps they keep us sheltered from the "adventurous chocolate" but, I have to agree with mmilessq nothing too weird - and no chocolate covered bugs or anything, please. :)

sunshinesuperman 03/19/2009 #

I love dark or coffee flavored chocolate.

This is my very first swap and I am very excited. This looks like a really fun idea, swapping that is. Chocolate is always a great idea! I am allergic to all nuts but not peanut butter.

MummyButterfly 03/20/2009 #

They have the Chili Chocolate at Jean Coutu AcadiaChick, I didn't try it yet :)

herbovitz 03/21/2009 #

No white chocolate for me please!

herbovitz 03/21/2009 #

Sorry, didn't mean to leave my comment three times. I don't feel that passionate about white chocolate.

misnatalie 03/21/2009 #

Does anyone know how long it usually take for a small parcel to go from Canada to the USA. I mailed mine on march 27 and I didn't have any feedback from my partner. I hope it didn't got lost in the mail :(

AcadiaChick 04/ 7/2009 #

MummyButterfly - it usually take about 2 weeks or so. I sent mine on the 28th and got rated today. Sometimes it depends on where it's going as well. I wouldn't worry about it too much just yet, it is snail mail after all :)
