One of the most fun parts of receiving a postcard is the art on the front -- but sometimes, it's also nice to get art on the back! For this swap, you will take a postcard (sender's choice, though it's always nice to check your partner's likes/dislikes) and draw any cryptid on the message section on the back. Again, sender's choice, but you may also check to see your partner's preferences. The Nitty-Gritty The image should be done in pen/ink so that it's permanent. It does not need to be colored, but you can color if you'd like. Include the name of the cryptid, swap name, and your username on the card. You can add a short message or a fact or two if there's room, but it's not required. Your drawing doesn't need to be perfect, especially because it can be a pain to draw on postcards (they generally hold indent marks from pencil lines and sometimes do not hold color well -- I recommend spot-checking your markers or colored pencils before taking them to the image itself). Just do your best, these are fun to receive regardless! All types of postcards are ok (homemade, Zazzle, storebought, etc). As per USPS regulations, your card must be at least 3.5" x 5" and no larger than 4.25" x 6". Any postcard larger than this will still send, but will require a regular forever stamp (58 cents vs 40 cents for standard postcard). Send naked (no envie) unless your partner requests otherwise in the comments. Rate promptly and fairly -- 5 if it meets requirements, heart if you love it. I will angel, just let me know if something is up. Message me with any questions and happy swapping! Edit - swap date extended one day to reflect Monday 6/20 being a Federal holiday (Juneteenth).
