This is my first attempt at coordinating a washi-tape swap, so please let me know if I miss anything;-) In this swap we will exchange “traditional” paper tapes a.k.a. washi:
It’s acceptable to cut non-stick, ATC sized surfaces to wrap the samples around. I’ve also been known to recycle empty giftcards if they’re made of a smooth and non-stick material. The idea here is to make sure everyone receives approximately the same amount of washi tape samples and that each of them is useful. It can be frustrating to receive a fun, new washi that’s been wrapped around a paper tag because all the tape stuck on the paper cannot be used elsewhere. Please try to stick to that standard playing card size though. Sender’s Choice w/1 CaveatCheck your three partner’s profile pages to see if they have any overt dislikes, then avoid these please.. It’s understandable if you don’t like/celebrate a certain holiday or color, etc. We want to send tapes you’ll enjoy using. But, we all have different tape types too… and since this swap is an exchange of what we have in our stash already, we’re all going to be flexible about the sizes of tape we receive. If it’s paper tape, it’s all fair game: wide, skinny, standard - foiled, plain color, abstract, dots, stripes, script, etc. image is my own personal 45 quart tote of washi to share |
