Greetings MM&L members...we come in peace...or do we? It's time for round #3 in the Alien ATC series ~ I hope you're not tired of this theme yet! For this Alien ATC swap, we will be creating 1 ATC for 1 partner that depicts crop circles! Crop circles, if you don't already know, are large scale patterns created by flattening crops! As they require crops for their formation, they only appear during crop growing seasons. The phenomenon is commonly thought to have first begun in the 1970s, though some believe they were around even earlier. Most often appearing overnight, these patterns tend to be found in fields near roads, areas with medium to dense populations, and near cultural monuments such as Stonehenge. While this would suggest a human origin, and thus imply they are likely hoaxes or publicity stunts, many believe they are extraterrestrial in origin. So let's all suspend our disbelief and imagine they are definitely for sure made by aliens! Because they totally...for sure...are...And you can't tell me otherwise! You may search up images of photographed crop circles to use as inspiration or feel free to create your own unique design! You are not limited in what you can create here so get as creative as you'd like! If you use a real crop circle photo for inspiration it might be fun to include a note letting your partner know the details (when & where) so they can read about it on their own if they'd like, but this is not required. Swap rules are as follows:
