Hi swappers . . . Let's follow along with Jessica from PaperTerrace in THIS video to create 4 simple book page tags with reinforcements for our partners. Use botanical pages if you have them; if not, select any book with lovely images. The size of your tags will depend upon the book page(s) you select; let's shoot for a minimum of 2"x4"--larger is fine. If you're using a smaller book, you might have to use 2 pages for 4 tags. If your book pages are not very sturdy, please stack 2 pages together before cutting. Create a tag shape at the top, put on a reinforcement you've created (or one you bought and colored), and string a textile or pin w/charm through the hole. You could also fold a strip of paper over the top center and punch through that to give a shipping-tag-look. Sew if you'd like, but it's not a requirement. Faux stitching also looks pretty when drawn or stamped. Create in your own style using the video as inspiration. Hope to see you in the swap ;+) |
