MAKE your 3 partners 3 rag quilt squares.(9 total) These are made by taking a 9 inch square of fabric of any pattern, design, pieced, appliqued or a solid for the front... and a 9 inch square of SOLID colored fabric for the back ... and put a 6 1/2 inch square of batting in the middle...sew the fabric sandwich together by sewing or embroidering in any pattern or design you like ,,,or more important, that your partners will like...use colors they like so you have to check out their profile...but thats the fun part to get to know them! HAVE FUN! IT IS very important that you leave all edges raw up to 1 inch of the edge. The quilt is put together by sewing a reg. size seam allowance with all raw edges sticking up on the front. Then they are snipped about every 1/2 inches and freyed... A Pattern for the blossom rag quilt is on joanns fabrics website...check it out! if u have any ? please pm me |
