Update Your Swap-Bot Profile

OK ya'll - let's commit to updating our profiles!

This swap is a type 1 swap as we won't be trading physical items.

Here is what I envision for this swap (note not everything may apply to you and/or your partner these are just ideas):

• Add and/or update a picture of yourself at the top of your profile. If you are comfortable sharing a picture of yourself with the SB community please do - I love to be able to put a face with a name. (I'll add a link to info on how to trick out your profile in the comments section on this swap sign-up)

• Remove any old notes that aren't relevant anymore. (For example: notes dated years back stating you are taking a break etc.)

• Add and/or update an ABC's of me or a really comprehensive likes and dislikes list. (IN MY OPINION THIS IS ONE OF THE MORE IMPORTANT ITEMS!! I have tons of stuff in my swap stash to share with people and it is always frustrating when I'm partnered with someone who I'm supposed to send like 50 stickers to and their profile says they work in an office love happy mail and have 3 cats... it makes it hard to send a nice personalized heart worthy swap!)

• Link your Amazon Wishlist, Flickr, Website, Etsy Store, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and/or any other Social Media Sites you may want to share. (If you have troubles getting your links to work PM me and I'll be happy to help, took me a while to get mine to work!)

• Update the address tab on your profile with proper capital letters, abbreviations etc. (I copy addresses directly from the 'who you send to' list SB generates to make mailing labels, and I have to fix lots of stuff!) It is also helpful if you list the state as just the 2 letter state abbreviated code rather than spelling it out that way it shows up correct in the 'who you send to' list.

• Add additional sections to your profile. You can use the pre-determined ones (about me, favorite music, favorite books, favorite movies, favorite television, favorite crafts) or you can use the 'other' selection to create any kind of section you like!

• Fix type-o's. Even though I proofread when I originally created my profile I have found type-o's on my own page like different 5 times lol. I encourage partners to kindly let their partner know if they noticed a type-o when initially viewing their profile so when the re-vamp is done those errors can be fixed =)

For this swap you will have one partner.

• Please wait until Partners are assigned to update your profile.

• After partners are assigned you will go fully read your partners profile and take a screen shot, you will then send them a PM letting them know you have done so.

• Once you are notified by your partner that they have reviewed your profile you will have 2 weeks to re-vamp and/or update your page.

• After you are done with your updates let your partner know via PM.

• Once your partner let's you know they are done with their updates go check out their new and improved page! If needed use the screen shot you took to compare.

• After the final review rate your partner - it would be extra nice to let them know in the comments of rating what you like about their updated profile!

I will personally be checking out the profiles for everyone who joins this swap as I'm excited to see all the updates on everyone's profiles. As a bonus I'll be picking the top 3 profiles that I think made the most significant changes and sending them a surprise goody bag!

This swap is open to all countries and Swappers new and old as long as you don't have significant rating issues that I would be concerned about - I'll vet all participants before assigning partners and figure out a way to Angel if needed (hopefully it is not needed)
