Please send:

A tea cup or tea pot (used is fine if in good condition - thrift stores are Great places to find cute ones for cheap) A New Box of a special kind of tea (not something plain and standard, something that is really special in some way) Something special to eat with your tea (Biscotti, cookies, etc.). Can be homemade or store bought - If homemade please include recipe.

Feel free and include anything else that you want too that goes with the theme. Extra tea bags of types you like, things that go in tea (speciality creamers (no refridgerated of course), speciality honey, tea strainers, etc.

Each person will have one partner. I will ban anyone with multiple no ships. US ONLY.

I received a lovely cup, some snapple teabags, and some yummy cookies yesterday. Thanks so much to my partner!

I got a very unique package....I was even lucky enough to get a tea set, not just a tea cup! It is made in Japan and is sitting as a centerpiece on my kitchen table!

Also got some candies and some dried mango fruit- what a special package. Thanks to my partner who gets a 5+ from me!

Apparently my partner thought my package was lame (and wasn't afraid to say so on her blog.) Sad to put a negative spin on what I thought was a fun, casual thing.

Missbeaux, you didn't follow the swap guidelines. I got a few teabags that were probably out of boxes you had around and a mug. The mug is pretty, but take a look at what the swap guidelines were. You obviously had a great partner who sent you a wonderful package full of goodies. Can you honestly say you did the same?

Hi Jill,

This was my first swap and I thought it was just a tea cup swap and that the other items were just nice to haves. I didn't realize the guidelines were so strict and that it would upset you so much and warrant giving me a bad rating simply because I didn't include a box of cookies. Now I know for future swaps what is expected and my future partners will receive oodles of great stuff.

Your comment that I prefer to receive rather than give was unfair. Had you been a bit nicer about it, I would have sent another box of goodies in the mail to you.

Shouldn't this be a fun, friendly thing?

I apologize. I was not trying to be mean, but I just wanted people to be aware if there are bad swappers out there and there are some really awful ones here and I've unfortunately already experienced the getting nothing. Personally, I try to follow the swap guidelines and put a bit extra into it. I'm sorry if you felt the comment was unfair and agree that it probably was considering that this was your first swap. I make no excuses for my bad behavior in this case and just hope that an apology will make things better.

Thanks Jill.
