I've seen a few US-only ATC swaps out there, and I thought it would be fun to do one for Canadians. Let's put those new P(ermanent) stamps to good use! I very rarely get Canadian partners for things where I can use a flat envelope and use up my P stamps. For every 1 pack of Canadian stamps I buy, I purchase at least 10 American packs and 5 international. I'm sure I can't be the only one who has run into this! 5 partners x 2 ATCs each = 10 cards total. Totally open theme, so we can juice up our creativity and send a variety of ideas. It might be neat to put your location the back of the ATC as well so we can feel connected with our fellow country(wo)men. (Or not. Whatever.) If you guys want more partners or more ATCs per partner, please let me know and I'll edit the swap. (And make sure to inform everyone of the change.) I just don't want to overwhelm people. I'd be into hosting a bigger one in future with more partners like all those other mega-swaps out there! I just don't know how many Canadians we have out there who make ATCs. Traditional ATC rules apply... 2.5"x3.5", and of course the traditional link to a tutorial: http://www.cedarseed.com/air/atc.html Canadians only. Newbies welcome, but fill out your profile and/or provide a link to your intrawebz presence. Ratings of 4.5 or higher. No more than 2 no sends in the last 3 months. (I'm pretty fair and lenient and have no problem checking out profiles and ratings and who rated you etc. I know there are a few ratings-catfights going around, and I know that people often rate 1 within a week of swaps closing or not communicating with their partner.) I'm out of the country the evening of May 3 to the evening of May 15, so I can't be reached during that time. Which is why I'm giving some time both before and after I get back in order to answer any questions or messages that may arise before I assign partners. :) Have fun everyone! (Hope I'm not the only Canadian who is into this idea! Hehe. It's entirely possible.) |
