Want to try something new? Send a mini do-it-yourself kit to one partner and receive one in return! A great way to learn or dabble in a new craft. One kit, one partner, grab-bag style (meaning you don't get to specify the mini kit you want, it's up to your sender!) Senders may ask their partners if they have a preference or if they have additional tools required (e.g., needle nosed pliers for jewelry making) You will assemble (or buy) a small kit that will provide all materials and instructions needed for your partner to make one or two complete items: for example - two ATCs, two handmade notecards, one mini scrapbook or sticky pad book, one crocheted bookworm or hairband, one mini cross-stitch kit or other embroidery, one pair of beaded earrings, one pendant, one jeweled pin or broach, one bracelet, one mini picture frame, one refridgerator magnet, one altered altoid tin, one matchbox shrine, etc. Omit glue, scissors, tape - I'm gonna assume we all have that:) You get the idea. The kits should be smallish and inexpensive, two or three dollars at most. Going over is up to you and will certainly be appreciated by your partner. US participants only, rated swappers only (no newbies) of 4.7 or better. Questions, please message me! Get your "Martha" on! |
