Description: | |
If you have a Twinchie Postcard from a past swap, fill in one of the squares with tangles of your choice, add a message and names of tangles on the back, then send it (in an envelope) to your partner. If your partner started the card you've got, you must instead start a new postcard as below, and keep the other one for a future round. If your partner didn't start the card but had already tangled a square on it, check with them before sending whether they're okay receiving the same card again or whether they'd like a new one. If you don't have one to pass on, start a new one by taking a 4" by 6" postcard (or card stock), divide it into 6 sections, each section 2" x 2". Tangle one section with tangles of your choice. Put your own name and address on the back so it can be mailed back to you when it's finished. In the 'message' section on the back, write your name, the tangles you used, the date you are sending it (and a short note if you wish). Make sure to leave space for the other participants to write too! Put it into an envelope and mail it to your partner. Optionally, add a few tangles to the envelope to brighten it up. When the card is full, add a stamp and mail it home. (No envelope). I am making this USA only simply because of the turnaround time for international mail. Mail from some countries has been taking up to 2 months to arrive here, and since this is a "round robin" kind of swap, the long wait time holds up the swap for everyone else. |
