NEW FOR 2024: A blog was created to give participants of my junk journal swaps a place to share their layouts that would allow the entire group to see their work. During 2024, when you sign up for swaps you are committing to completing your swap by the “Mail by” date and then taking a photo of your layout/page and sharing it in the comments of the swap post. Once you peruse the site it should make more sense to you. Thank you to everyone who is continuing for a 2nd or 3rd or even a 4th year! Here is the blog: https://soyprincesa2.wixsite.com/junkjournaljourney HERE IS A VIDEO OF ME EXPLAINING THIS YEARS SWAPShttps://www.loom.com/share/ed0e9b39660f4dccb8756d5bc1241315?sid=93ce3e0f-fb5a-4e07-ae2a-d3122e1a201d I have been hosting junk journal swaps for years on Swap-bot and I really love them! I do it a little differently because you don't actually mail anything. It is a fun way to get support and encouragement from others and still hold on to your creations. If this sounds like a swap you may want to do repeatedly, get a TN (traveler's notebook) or art journal. Something with at least 20 pages. Then each round you need to read over everything listed below so that you can gather all 3 of the pieces and then have fun creating. For round 14 here is the list:a piece of a mapa pen or pencil (a photo or picture of one)a postal itema woodland animalRate your partners a 5 for effort. Even if they didn't get everything onto their page. This swap is meant to be fun and get us to use our craft stash! Because there is a craft component to this swap I am categorizing it as a Type 3 swap |
