Description:

The newbie swap group is all invited to a teaparty! Think of teapots, teacups, cookies, cakes, tea, coffee, cupcakes, chocolates, sweets, tea, coffee, scones and cucumber sandwiches, linen, gingham tablecloths etc. Maybe shabby chic! Think of a summer afternoon in a beautiful garden!

This swap can include handmade items such as pincushions, needlebooks etc, and things like stickers, fabric, your favourite cookie recipes and whatever else you can think of! We will keep this small value at US$5 min. Be as creative as you like, please look at your partners profile to see what sort of things they will like and then you have a month to look for things or to make things teaparty related!

For this swap you have one partner to send to, its international so open to everyone. The usual rules apply, if you flake (don't send) you will be removed from the group. I will angel this swap if I need to.

I have set up a new flickr group so that we can post photos of this swap and any others you do in the Newbie Swap Group. Please post photos after your partner has received, so that your swap remains a surprise! Click on the link

Please ask any questions in the messages below, and list any ideas you would like to share! Have fun!

Grace had the great idea of sending things related to a Chinese or Japanese tea party - as it is an international swap, lets make it an international tea party! If there is anything special about teaparties in the country you live in (or are from), please feel free to add it into your swap! Write a little note explaining about what you are sending. This is going to be an excellent swap - I am really excited so many people have joined up!
