I am editing this swap, to try and make it easier for people to sign up... Here is your chance to teach someone a new craft and to learn a new one yourself! There are a whole lot of crafts out there on swapbot to try like - crocheting, ATCs, Dotee Dolls, Beading, Inchies, scrapbooking, knitting, cross-stitch, watercolor, sewing, cardmaking, fabric inchies, watercolor ATCs etc. Maybe you did it awhile ago and want to try it again, or just would like more supplies in the form of a kit. Whatever your reason, this is for you. So what to do; Post here 3 or more crafts/techniques which you could teach a partner. When you get your partner message them to see which craft they would like to receive a DIY kit for, make a kit for them, then send it off. Minimum value $5 (you may already have new things lying around that you can use). Ideas of what a kit might contain: Beading Kit-A couple big beads, a handful of small beads, 2 earring hooks, 2 clasps, string, jewelry box ATC Kit- ATC Blank, a background or two, some embelishments, a rubber stamp, a inkpad, a card sleeve Dotee Doll - face, hair, fabric, beads, cotton, embellishments Please put in instructions (your own, from internet or a book), some pictures of what the finished craft item should look like as well as all the materials you need to make it. Have fun with this, its international, and I will angel if necessary. Post photos on flickr of the kits you send/receive and the finished craft items - it will be fun to see what people make! The flickr link is at the top of this swap. Any questions please ask - either in the comments or message me! |
