As the 98th installment of the “Stickers and...” series, I thought it might be fun to do stickers and a Thanksgiving card. For this swap you will use a store bought Thanksgiving card, or a very nicely done handmade card (with effort, not just some stickers slapped on - as much as we all love stickers, this card should be more😉). If you’re overseas, and you country doesn’t have Thanksgiving cards, a nice Autumn card will be just fine, too. In the card, you will write one oddball thing you’re thankful for, and why. Of course everyone is thankful for the things like family, friends, pets, your home, or job, but what is something weird or strange or unusual that you’re really thankful for? Tell your partner about it! Don’t forget to write a little greeting, the name of the swap and sign your name and username, inside the card, too. So...in your Thanksgiving card, you’ll need to tuck in a sheet of stickers. The sticker rules are the same as usual. A full sheet of stickers, not cut up. Nice, new stickers only. No reward, kiddie (Dora, Frozen, etc), or alphabet stickers, unless your partner specifically requests those in their profile. If the sticker sheets are very small (4”x4” or smaller) then send 2 sheets. Stickers should be dime sized or bigger. Stickers are sender’s choice. So you cannot rate down if you don’t like the stickers your partner sent. If they don’t float your boat, you can always pass them on in the next round. Please do not cut sticker sheets in half - make sure you use a card big enough for your sheet of stickers. Stickers can be any style and do not need to be Thanksgiving or Fall themed unless you want to. Rating: if your partner sends a Thanksgiving card with a little note about something they’re thankful for, and included and a sheet (or two) of stickers that meet the requirements, then you must rate them as a 5. If you really like the stickers, or the message, then a heart is up to you. Newbies can join this swap with a well filled out profile, established swappers should have at least a 4.9 and no unexplained/unresolved 1’s or 3’s. If you want to participate, but are not sure you can, feel free to check with me. I will be checking participants and reserve the right to ban anyone I don’t feel confident will complete the swap. And of course, I will angel if need be. |
