International Swap If you're anything like me, you LOVE to buy the touristy items while on vacation. That is what this swap is all about!! Any time this summer, when you take your vacation, put together a package of goodies for your partner. This can include (but does not require or limit to) postcards, pamphlets of things you have done, playing cards, shot glass, something local to your vacation destination, photos you take, a rock from the beach, etc, etc, etc. The possibilities are endless!! Whatever you think captures the essence of your vacation ~ and a simple thing to keep in the back of your mind is "would i like to receive this?" And then include a note/letter about your vacation and/or the items you have chosen to send. I am not setting a monetary value on this swap, but I do not want anyone just sending an envelope of brochures or something like that. Make it lover-ly (a new favorite word of mine!!) Anyone with a 4.5 or higher, and 2 or fewer no-sends is welcome; unfortunately this swap is not for newbies due to the length of time between sign-up and send-out. If you do not fit the criteria but still wish to participate, PM me ~ I WILL NOT pm you before banning you if I see fit. If you do not wish to send anything, feel free to not sign up! I wonder where everyone is going on vacation? I'm going to Door County, which is in the "thumb" of Wisconsin! It's very charming and touristy, but also lots of fun nature things: state parks, and it's practically surrounded by water! We went for a long weekend last summer, and we loved it so much that we decided to make it an annual thing!

I'm going to Arches National Park in Utah this weekend. So I'll try to find something there. We are going to do the full delicate arch hike this time, last time we did the wimpy version because we partied to hard the night before. Oops :)

Have fun Joanne!! And I hope that EVERYONE has a great Memorial Weekend! We're just staying home and enjoying our own area for once, and I think I'm a little too excited about that :)

sunday jul. 01 i am going on a cruice. the cruice starts in barcelona and take one week. then we will stay one week in barcelona. then we are going back to norway were we will visit family in lofoten for one week. sorry for the bad english, hope you understand.

We just got back from a great trip to Ocean City, Maryland to celebrate birthdays for my son and husband. Then we went to Baltimore, Maryland for a convention and to sightsee. We had so much fun in both places! I am getting my swap together now.

I'm excited -- I'm going to Cleveland for the weekend from the 20th to the 23rd this month! SO.... my partner can look forward to things from Cleveland, and maybe from the pit stops along the way :oP

Well, I got back yesterday from my fabulous Door County vacation!! I won't say too much just now because I don't want to ruin the "surprise" for my partner!! We had a great time though!
