CONTEST: "Poor Boy" Idea

This contest is to test your thriftiness and to learn from other people.

I'm looking for written ideas that show how you create favorites in your own "poor boy" way. For example (which happens to be part of the top prize) I saw this faux dessert decorating idea with silicone on the net and I couldn't afford the kit so I went to a hardware store bought some silicone calking glue and a nail/manicure shop for some fruit decor and I got a pocket mirror for free from a fair - BING BANG - there it was (see picture above for one sample)

I will be judging these ideas with my friends and the top 3 will get surPRIZES! Here are the conditions:

Must be sent as a message with a picture to me on swap-bot

Must cost anyone under $5 dollars (if any money is spend)

You will get a partner and all you have to do is send your idea to them via e-mail (Picture could get you hearts, but no guarantees )

I will post winners and all ideas on this Swap site under comments a week from send due date
