Description:

I've been doing some journaling ideas with the theme of "things I learned from....". Thought it might make a fun swap idea. I figure we could do a monthly swap with a different theme each month.

Since my mom recently passed away I've been thinking alot about her and her influences on who I am. So for our first swap we'll do Things I Learned From My Mom.

You will send your swap partner a nice note card or pretty stationery with your list. I would like it to be a minimum of 5 items. They can be funny or clever or witty or serious or sentimental. Whatever you feel like. For example you could say I learned how to bake a cake, or I learned how to say no. Whatever seems true to you. There are a million ideas.

You could also add some comments about why you think your list of items are important to you. Make it a nice and thoughtful note.

Open to anyone in the group, but I would like to see a rating of 4.8 or higher. This is an easy swap, so come join the fun. Perhaps you will gain some insight into who you are. Or at the very least, get to know some of your fellow swappers a little bit better.

Then next month we will do another theme. Happy Swapping!

An on-going swap on this theme is a good idea. Thanks for thinking of it.

I think it will be both fun to do and interesting to see what we get in return.

Great idea to rethink the memories of our Moms' especially those that are no longer with us.

May I suggest you keep a copy of your letter? If your mom is still living, what a special gift it would be to share your letter with her.
