Description:

I thought a completed set to two 12 x 12 pages would be fun to make and receive. Each person makes a 12 x 12 themed page (e.g. Mainstreet, Animal Kingdom, Toon Town, Small World, Tomorrowland, and so on). You simply identify what themed pages you would like below so when partners are identified they will know. For each of the two pages, you must use a minimum of one pack of Disney embellies and one or more of the following: brads, eyelets, ribbon, photo mats, and stamps, buttons.

This swap is for the serious scrapbookers and must be one 100 percent participation on your part.

Just two 12 x 12 pages with one package of embellisments, 2 -4 photo mats per page, and a journaling tag is all it takes. I have shipped these out in a Priority Mailing box (free) from the Post Office and rewrapped it with brown paper. Costs are approx. $10-$15 with mailings.

If you have questions, please let me know.

Swappers with a min. of a 4.5 or higher are invited.

This sounds like an expensive swap shipping and buying wise. I would possibly join if it wasn't international. Sounds like fun though!

12x12 is really tough and expensive to mail. You'd have to make your own envelope.....

How does one get a rating higher than 5.0?

You can fit 12 x 12 paper in a pizza box, but it would be cheaper to reuse some kids' poster board and cut it to ship the pages. Still, I agree that the cost of international mailing makes this one cost prohibitive for me, given the investment of materials. Since the partner is to specify the theme (rather than general Disney), it almost guarantees I would have to buy all the materials for the pages, rather than use some of the lovely Disney items I already have.

12X12 fit fine in a postal mail flat rate box.You don't have the make your own.I'm on boards that do these kind of swaps all the time and it's the best way to get a full album in no time for your last trip or trip to come. I go to Dinneyland the most so I would love land that is at both parks ;) This is can't be THAT expensive it's a2 page Layout.... I'm IN!!!!! Hugs Surina

Glad to hear you are on board DisneyRider! I have done several of these myself and the costs really are about $12-$15 per swap. I sent out an Adventurland-themed page and it cost about $12 to make and send. The best part of these types of swaps is that the album gets done in no time. Hope to see you all there.
