Description: | |
Do you enjoy doing counted cross-stitch? I really enjoy it and I love getting them. Sometimes I will turn a project into a small pillow or I will frame it and hang it up somewhere to be displayed. This swap is for anyone who would like to send and receive a completed counted cross-stitch project. The rules are simple. Once you get your partner, read over their profile and see if there is anything on there that they would like (for example, I really like fantasy and Medieval/Renaissance themed items) and do a project for them! It can a store bought project or one of your own designs! There is no restrictions on where and how you get your project other then it be no larger than a 5 x 7 and unfinished so that your partner can do with it what they wish. (Turn it into a pillow, frame it in a frame of their choosing, etc) Ideally, I would like to keep this under $10 before shipping. Most craft stores sell the small project kits with an abundance of themes to choose from if you do not wish to make your own. If you have a hard to find theme though, please be understanding and allow for creative expression should your partner send something that may be their interpretation of your interest. This is my first swap as a coordinator but I promise to be prompt and ready to handle any situations. I will be ready to angel anyone who ends up not getting their swap and if anyone would like to also help as an angel, I would greatly appreciate it. If you sign up and something happens where you cannot keep your commitment after partners have been assigned, I will understand. Just contact me so that I can make sure your partner is covered. I am going to set the send time out to October, give people time to shop/design a project that is just right for their partner. Any and all swappers are welcome but please be courteous to your fellow swappers. Send something of a quality that would you be proud to show off in our own home. If you have any questions, please contact me! |
