Poetic Inspiration

I'm an English major with a complete love affair with poetry, so I've decided to start a swap that is creative, and poetry related.

There will be two partners for this swap, and it will be international.

Step 1: Read T.S. Eliot's poem "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" (you can find the text here: http://www.prufrock.org/poem/fulltext.php ).

Step 2: Create two works of art inspired by the poem. Your art pieces can be anything you want them to be -- a piece of jewelry, a collage, a painting -- anything, as long as they're your best work, and they reflect the poem. Feel free to take your inspiration from the poem as a whole, or from a specific image found within the work.

Step three: When partners are assigned, send one of your creations off to each of your partners.

Swappers with a rating of 4.7 or over are welcome. Newbies with a full profile are welcome as well. Have fun!

Note: if this goes well, I plan to start a few more swaps based on works of literature.
